A historic class.

-for the first time in the history of Symmetry, we performed a side cambre with the foot in tendu en l'aire; awkward!
-the longest barre in the history of Symmetry (80 meters. I mean minutes)
-the most leg holds in a single class in the history of Symmetry (I lost count due to the pain)

Foot notes:
-focus now is on pushing the ankle out and the toes under with every point and step of the foot; ie: achieving the ballet foot
-foot does not wrap in fondu because it is impossible to maintain the shape of the foot if you do so
-in jumping, look over the feet as if at a mouse

Katya the Kat sneaks up on me once again. She has the cutest turnout.

Ballet at City Hall cafe: keep low and calm the energy/breath, even as the body springs up into form; jumpman jetes; stumble home with eyes half-open. Kimchi craving continues. Cherries are also lookin' good, but too expensive. Freedom is a paradox- or so I read. I've become embroiled in a study of ethics. I'm starting to recognize homeless people in the city- a marker of how well I am getting to know the streets of Philadelphia
